ABOUT MINERAL ELEGANCE

Karla Litas, owner and founder of Mineral Elegance Cosmetics, created the Mineral Elegance line of products to provide superior quality, yet affordable mineral cosmetics and skincare. Karla is a licensed Esthetician and a professional make-up artist with over 15 years of combined experience in the beauty industry; including spa, salon, medical and retail settings. Growing frustrated with the lack of objective information and the exaggerated claims that abound in these settings, she began researching cosmetic ingredients and formulation techniques.

What began as a hobby became a passion, when an interest in aromatherapy and perfumery combined with her knowledge of cosmetic ingredients, and led her to formulate her first body products. While later working as a make-up artist with a line of custom-blend mineral make-up, she was inspired to research the possibility of using her formulating knowledge to create her own mineral-based cosmetics line. With an artist's eye for color, a skincare professional's expectation of results, and a formulator's knowledge of quality ingredients, Mineral Elegance Cosmetics was launched in 2005.

Mineral elegance is a small company located just outside of Chicago, Illinois. We take pride in the quality and performance of our products.
